Congratulations to the Grade 3 choir for their fine singing in the Winnipeg Music Festival and the silver award they received. The Grade 4 Orff Club received a silver award as well.
The Grade 5 Theatre Club received a gold award of their performance and performed for the Concert of Excellence on March 15th. Well done to all of the music groups!

Music Festival
The Winnipeg Music Festival is quickly approaching. The Grade 3 Choir will be performing at Westminster Church on March 2nd around 11:45 am; the Grade 5 Theatre Club will be performing on March 9th around 10:45 at Westminster Church and the Grade 4 Orff Club will be performing on March 13 at 10 a.m. at Lakewood School.

Golden West
The Grade 4/5 choir will be singing at Golden West on December 21st. We will sing from 10:15 - 11:00. We will leave the school around 9:45 am and return around 11:30 a.m. Please remember to wear something nice and bring a nutritious snack to sustain you until lunch at 11:30.

Chorale 4/5 sings at the Moose Game
The Grade 4/5 choir will be singing O Canada at the Manitoba Moose Game on November 23rd. Permission forms are out. This will be a very exciting event.

Divisional Junior Choir
Students in grade 5 who are interested in auditioning for the Junior Choir (Grades 6 - 8) have received information about the auditions. We have already had a few practices to get ready. Students can sing O Canada or She's Like the Swallow.

Divisional Children's Choir
A note went home today for students in grade 4 interested in auditioning for the Divisional Children's Choir. This is a group who will meet in September (Grade 5) and practice once a week on Wednesday from 4:15 - 5:45 at Heritage School until May. I will start practices with this group in May during recesses to prepare for their song.
Please ensure that you sign up for an audition time on the site provided on the hand-out.
